Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and analyze clinical lab tests across disciplines under standard policies. The role includes handling specimens, operating instruments, and ensuring accuracy and safety in a busy hospital lab.

You will work rotating weekends and holidays, maintain records, communicate results to nurses and physicians, and uphold infection control and safety guidelines while providing patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science; licensure as required by state board.
• Certification as MLT preferred (ASCP or AMT).
• Experience as Medical Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze samples accurately and efficiently.
