PVH Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, WV, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests across disciplines in accordance with licensure and hospital procedures.
Responsibilities include instrument setup, quality control, phlebotomy as needed, and reporting results to nursing and physician staff. Candidates should have an AAS in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science and WV licensure or trainee status.
Perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests within scope of licensure in all laboratory disciplines by standard operating policies and procedures. Understand method principles, perform quality control, perform preventative maintenance, review, and analyze results as to accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.

WV: High Complexity Testing Personnel (HCTP) License OR Trainee License issued by the WV Department of Health
MD: No state license issued
