The Learning Experience in Bristow, VA is hiring a Preschool Teacher for the 2-Year-Old classroom. The role focuses on nurturing communication, independence, and routines while delivering engaging early learning experiences.

Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour for full-time, Monday–Friday. The program uses the L.E.A.P. Curriculum and emphasizes safety, family communication, and growth opportunities within our center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional childcare experience required.
• Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging daily learning experiences for children in our 2-Year-Old classroom.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities using L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support early language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence with self-help skills and classroom routines.
• Guide children through learning activities, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions.
• Use positive guidance to encourage appropriate classroom behaviors and social skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Build strong relationships with children and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Follow Virginia childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
