The Learning Experience – Canton, MI is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old classroom. This role offers a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

You will lead daily activities, support development across language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional areas, and build strong relationships with families while upholding licensing requirements and a safe classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDA or ECE coursework preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus.
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
• Patient, energetic, dependable and nurturing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and routines for the 2-year-old classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills.
• Guide meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play and transitions.
• Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean and engaging classroom.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
