The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and early school-readiness skills. This on-site role is based in Canton, MI with a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday.

The ideal candidate will lead hands-on activities, support literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment while communicating regularly with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous preschool, daycare, or childcare experience preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Dependable, nurturing, and team-oriented.
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging preschool learning activities and daily routines
• Support early literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
• Guide children through learning centers, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements
