The position is full-time and exempt, with hours typically spanning early starts to longer days depending on shift coverage; overtime and attendance impact performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising material handling teams.
• Industry manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Manages material handling operations and follows established procedures to meet department requirements.
• Staffing of material handling department including overtime and coverage.
• Conducts monthly staff meetings to align on quality expectations and goals.
• Coordinates with other production leaders to ensure smooth operations.
• Instructs material handlers on safe operations and processes.
• Maintains open communication for employee growth and issue resolution.
• Proposes improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Solves problems within the material handling department.
