Job summary

Hoffmaster seeks a Shift Supervisor for the Oshkosh, WI facility. The role leads frontline operations on second shift (3pm - 11pm), overseeing production, distribution, and maintenance to meet safety, quality, and customer goals.

You'll coach hourly staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will supervise hourly employees and group leads, track KPIs, and coordinate with Plant Managers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven team supervision skills with ability to deliver operational objectives.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience monitoring KPIs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Time & Attendance systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, distribution, and maintenance activities to meet daily operational, quality, and customer goals.
• Ensure all employees follow Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and company safety standards, proactively preventing workplace injuries.
• Track key metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve production, efficiency, and quality.
• Assist with rollouts of new methods, tools, or equipment to reduce labor, material costs, and ergonomic risks.
• Supervise hourly employees and Group Leads, provide guidance, coach for performance, and elevate issues as needed.
• Communicate with Plant Managers, CI Managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational concerns.
• Participate in safety, operational, and cross-functional meetings to support plant goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to flexibly support the business and meet production and customer needs.
