Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a welder in Florida to perform welded assembly tasks in a manufacturing setting. The role requires reading blueprints, adjusting weld parameters, and maintaining quality beads while adhering to safety rules.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of welding experience or a valid certification, be comfortable with power tools, and able to operate forklifts or overhead cranes if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year welding experience in a production setting or a valid welding certification.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience a plus.
• Comfort with power hand tools and basic measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment with proper bead control and gas flow.
• Read tape measures and blueprints to shop standards.
• Adjust welding settings and gun manipulation as needed for quality welds.
• Train others on proper welding procedures per manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain accurate sequence and participate in continuous improvement in the area.
