Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is hiring 1st shift Welders (Level I, II, III) for on-site work at 45 Sutton Road, Verona, VA. Welders read drawings, follow WPS, and weld parts, sub-assemblies, and pipes per ASME standards.

The role requires safe, precise workmanship and ability to work from shop drawings and procedures. Starting pay ranges from $28.00 to $38.00 per hour, with bi-weekly pay and a 6:00am–4:30pm schedule, Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience or commensurate education from trade school.
• MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe; 6G preferred for pipe welding.
• Ability to read and apply WPS; read drawings.
• Level II requires 3–5 years MIG/TIG welding; ASME certification.
• Level III requires 5+ years MIG/TIG welding and ASME certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and tack and weld components into assemblies.
• Weld according to procedures and documents to defined quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
