Job summary

Wieland is hiring for 1st shift Welders Level I, II, III at 45 Sutton Road, Verona, VA. You will work from shop drawings and procedures, performing MIG and TIG welds on parts and pipes while adhering to ASME safety regulations.

On-site with an hourly pay range of $28.00–$38.00/hr, schedule Mon-Thu 6:00am-4:30pm, bi-weekly pay. Qualifications vary by level: Level I requires 1–3 years or trade training; Level II requires 3–5 years and ASME certification for welded parts under pressure; Level III

Qualifications

• Level I: 1–3 years welding experience or commensurate trade-school training.
• Level I: MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe; pipe welding may not be certified.
• Level I: Ability to read WPS and drawings; strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Level II: 3–5 years MIG/TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels; ASME certification.
• Level II: Ability to troubleshoot fitting and welding issues; read drawings.
• Level III: 5+ years MIG/TIG welding with ASME certification; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Follow production orders; prepare parts and tack/weld components into assemblies.
• Execute welds according to procedures; meet defined quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized working environment; preserve tools and equipment.
• Record safety, quality, and maintenance activities in written or electronic form.
