Essential Skills

• Five or more years of progressively responsible welding and fabrication experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, industrial fabrication, architectural metals, precision fabrication, or a similar environment (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, or both, aligned with assigned position requirements.
• Current welding certifications or the demonstrated ability to successfully pass qualification tests required for the work performed.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of weld joint design, filler metals, shielding gases, preheat requirements, weld sequence, distortion control, and weld-defect prevention.
• Ability to complete complex fabrication work independently while consistently meeting quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings with little or no supervision.
• Sound decision-making skills related to fabrication sequence, weld selection, distortion control, fixturing, and quality checks.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when clarification or supervisor review is necessary.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to accept and apply feedback.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
