Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate Equipment Operator for our Lebanon, TN distribution center. You will safely operate powered industrial equipment, pick, sort, stage, and transport product, and use RF scanners or voice systems to maintain inventory accuracy.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with start times at 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM, starting pay $20.00 per hour, with additional incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Overtime availability as needed based on business demands
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand‑up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a warehouse including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, heights up to 30 feet
• Experience with, or readiness to learn, warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice systems
• Regular and reliable attendance in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures
• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and/or labor management systems
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following SOPs for assigned task areas
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team‑oriented work environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper PPE and fall‑protection equipment when required
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
