Job summary

Almac Group in Durham, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Operative Grade 1 to carry out material handling and inventory control in a standard computerized warehouse.

Responsibilities include picking material for dispatch, inventory verifications, temperature check support for shipping, operating forklifts and equipment, and maintaining high housekeeping standards. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma/GED and 1+ year warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience with wireless inventory systems and ERP is a plus.
• Preference for regulated industry exposure (pharma/biotech).

Responsibilities

• Pick material in preparation for dispatch to the customer.
• Inventory verifications and inventory movement.
• Perform second checks on temperature monitor programs for shipping staff.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Maintain the warehouse to a high standard of housekeeping.
