Job summary

Alfa Laval in Richmond, VA, is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Worker to support material flow and production through safe, efficient picking and delivery. Hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

You will follow SOPs, record daily tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining PPE, safety, and quality standards. Forklift and crane experience preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Materials.
• Basic desk top computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required including the ability to read a tape measure.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver materials to workstations and locations to support workflow.
• Address internal requests promptly to maintain production continuity.
• Operate safely with PPE and follow SOPs.
• Receive daily assignments from Team Leader and follow procedures.
• Assist team with administrative and operational tasks and reporting.
• Report deviations to status boards and propose solutions.
• Participate in 5S routines and drive waste reduction.
• Cross train in multiple pick units for flexibility.
