Job summary

thyssenkrupp is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead I on the first shift in the United States. The role oversees activities on the warehouse floor, coordinates start-of-shift tasks, and ensures safety and quality compliance.

You will train staff, manage up to 15 people, and interact with customers at various management levels. Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, maintaining documentation, and ensuring tools and PPE are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable with scanners and tablets for data entry.
• Experience in industrial settings is preferred.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Computer literate: MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and product inspections.
• Lead by example and maintain housekeeping.
• Ensure safety compliance and report incidents immediately.
• Coordinate shift start activities and paperwork.
• Ensure tools, materials, PPE are available for jobs.
• Provide on-the-job training for new instructions.
• Be accountable for personnel and task completion.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager on objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation daily.
• Interact with the Customer to ensure satisfaction.
