Job summary

Bunzl Reno is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide and control branch warehouse activities, ensuring accurate order selection and shipping processes are carried out efficiently. The role monitors work processes and safety conditions to protect all employees and maintains a productive, compliant work environment.

The 1st shift runs from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with responsibilities including supervising daily operations, enforcing policies, and supporting the Warehouse Manager in performance analysis and

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing is required or strongly preferred for a lead role.
• Demonstrates ability to lead a team and manage daily operations.
• Must be able to lift 60–75 lbs as needed for entire shift.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 26 feet with safety equipment/training.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
• Exhibits strong judgment and decisive decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• OSHA certifications required upon hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in timely and accurate assembly of customer orders, including preparation for shipment.
• Provide a professional environment with relation to fellow team members, other department members and external customers.
• Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Organize and focus on improved productivity levels by enhancing processes and department efficiencies.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (operational, safety, administrative, etc.).
• Maximize quality and productivity by understanding expectations and assisting the Warehouse Manager with evaluating performance variances to identify root cause and corrective action.
