Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Material Handler/Tugger for the 1st shift to support our automotive manufacturing operations. You will unpack pallets, prepare materials for lines, and stock production lines using tugger or walk-behind equipment while ensuring FIFO and accurate delivery of parts.

The role requires 2–5 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation, the ability to lift 35 lbs, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• 2–5 years of warehouse operations experience with forklift.
• Clear verbal and written communication is expected.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks material from pallets and places in smaller flow racks to ensure FIFO.
• Decants and/or prepares material for each production line.
• Stocks production lines using tugger or walk-behind equipment and delivers correct quantity at the right time.
• Removes trash from materials area and production lines; loads cardboard/plastic into compactors.
• Assists with inventory control including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintains lot traceability and supports training as required.
