Dauch Corporation is seeking a Material Handler/Tugger for 1st shift to support driveline and metal forming operations. You will unpack materials, prep for production, and stock lines with tugger or walk behind equipment to ensure parts arrive on time.
Responsibilities include inventory control, cycle counts, and lot traceability, with opportunities to train others and take on additional duties as needed.
Materials – Tugger Job Description: Comply with all company, departmental, and safety policies and procedures. Unpacks material from pallets and places in smaller flow racks, ensuring FIFO process is followed. Decant and / or prepare material as required for each production line. Stocks the production lines using the proper equipment such as a tugger or walk behind. Must deliver the right number of parts to the line at the right time. Removes trash from the materials area and production lines. Loads cardboard and plastic into the compactors. Assists with inventory control functions of the on-site and off-site warehouses, including cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintains lot traceability as required. Supports training as required. Any other tasks and duties as assigned.
