Job summary

Yates Services is seeking a Material Handler for a fast-paced warehouse supporting just-in-time delivery for an automotive facility. Forklift experience preferred; cross-training on a tugger is possible. The ideal candidate communicates well, follows directions, and works with minimal supervision.

Basic computer skills are helpful and overtime may be required. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with equipment, moving products to appropriate areas, stacking and storing materials, labeling

Qualifications

• One year or more forklift experience preferred.
• Excellent communicator able to follow directions efficiently and provide feedback in a timely manner.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move product to warehouse/production areas with proper equipment.
• Stack and store material in designated areas.
• Check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as needed.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform duties outside of normal responsibilities when required.
• Pay close attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Comply with OSHA standards and report safety issues.
