Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a team leadership professional for an on-site role in South Carolina. You will lead Lean initiatives, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety and quality across the production flow.

You will mentor team leaders, oversee cross‑department communication, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with EHS standards. This position emphasizes hands-on leadership and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and coordinating cross‑functional work.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and process improvements.
• Ability to coach and develop frontline leaders and operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDI board meetings and Lean activities.
• Assign work schedules and coordinate overtime.
• Ensure employee safety and EHS compliance.
• Monitor product quality and process performance.
• Troubleshoot simple machines, processes, or issues.
• Coach and mentor team leaders and provide feedback.
• Communicate with teams, supervisors, and plant leadership.
• Lead and train other team leaders.

What you will do:

• Leads MDI board meetings and other Lean-related activities
• Assigns work schedules and coordinates overtime
• Ensures the safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements
• Monitors the quality of products and work
• Troubleshoots simple machines, processes, products, or employee issues
• Leads and trains team leaders, provides feedback and coaching
• Frequently communicates with team members, supervisors, and across departments, and with plant leaders
• Coaches other team leaders

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $23.00 Compensation Type: Hourly Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No
