RR Donnelley & Sons in San Antonio is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate for 1st shift. You will handle the preparation and shipment of samples, components and finished products via FedEx, UPS, USPS and similar carriers, while maintaining necessary documentation and packing according to specifications.

You may operate scales and hand tools, move materials with hand trucks, and occasionally run a forklift. The role requires lifting up to 45 pounds and standing 8 hours daily.

• Able to bend, lift, twist and climb.
• Ability to stand 8 hours a day.
• Ability to understand and communicate written instructions.
• Ability to understand and communicate verbal instructions.
• Skill in reading specifications and identifying parts for orders.
• Knowledge of routine picking procedures, techniques, equipment and basic warehouse procedures.
• Requires basic arithmetic and ability to measure, count and weigh products.

Mansioni

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to preparation and shipment of samples, components and finished products by FedEx, UPS, USPS or other carriers.
• Maintains necessary files and documentation.
• Uses small hand tools and scales; moves materials using hand trucks.
• Packs goods for shipment according to specifications and prepares bills of lading.
• Records weights and shipping charges; attaches shipping instructions to boxes.
• Occasionally handles receiving duties: unpacking, checking against documents, routing materials.
• May operate a forklift truck as needed.
