Job summary
CTDI in Joliet, IL is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse shipping operations, coordinate shipments, supervise loading and unloading, and ensure accurate shipping records and timely delivery.

Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of business operations and strategies.
- Demonstrates ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and influence team members.
- Strong time management and deadline-driven performance.
- Capacity to interact professionally with customers when needed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shipping operations in the warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate shipments, oversee loading/unloading, and maintain records.
- Lead a team, provide guidance, and ensure safety and policy adherence.
- Train and motivate staff; support labor planning and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and SOPs.
- Communicate with management and customers to meet SLAs.
- Support P&L forecasting and performance improvement initiatives.
- Handle escalations and act as first level shift support.
