Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Joliet, IL seeks a warehouse supervisor to lead the team, oversee operations, and ensure service, quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.

You will supervise and train staff, manage shipments and inventory, plan schedules, track reports, and address safety incidents. Proficiency with WMS and a flexible, weekend-friendly schedule are required for this role in both cold and dry storage environments.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity.
• Manage operational procedures including incoming/outgoing shipments and inventory.
• Plan production schedules and allocate resources while recording time and production data.
• Track and send reports to designated plant personnel.
• Monitor warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing for product availability.
• Investigate accidents according to company procedures.
