Position Overview

The Distribution Supervisor leads and coordinates activities of teammates involved in unloading trucks, receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, sortation, and loading. The role ensures smooth operational flow and supervises team performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Assign tasks based on shipping and receiving schedules and operational demands.
3. Train and develop team members, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
5. Provide performance feedback and coaching to teammates.
6. Oversee expedited product requests and collaborate with leadership to improve warehouse metrics and financial performance.
7. Achieve KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
8. Ensure compliance with SOPs and WI for warehouse management and transportation.
9. Communicate effectively with management regarding operations and personnel issues.
10. Conduct team meetings and provide regular performance updates.
11. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all functions of a Distribution Teammate, including equipment operation and specialist tasks.
• Willingness to expand responsibilities and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong attendance record and flexibility in work hours.
• Proficiency with RF/Voice/Visual Pick technology and material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety policies and procedures.
