Job summary

Stark Carpet is seeking an experienced QC/Packer for the 1st shift in Georgia. The role focuses on inspecting products, packaging, labeling, and ensuring adherence to quality standards in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with production staff, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with training new team members. A hiring/retention bonus may be provided within the first year, with details discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and product specifications.
• Basic math and computer skills for recordkeeping and labeling.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies according to quality standards.
• Use measuring tools, visual checks, and other methods to verify product quality.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products to the appropriate supervisor.
• Package approved products neatly and securely for shipment or storage.
• Label packaging accurately according to customer or internal specifications.
• Follow safety, and quality procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in training new team members on quality and packing procedures as needed.
