Job summary

Stark Carpet/Prestige Mills in Calhoun, GA is seeking a reliable hand sewer to join the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am) in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will perform detailed hand sewing, interpret work orders, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Cross-training and collaboration with other departments are encouraged to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand sewing tasks with precision and consistency to meet production standards.
• Interpret sewing instructions, product specifications, and work orders accurately.
• Ensure quality workmanship by inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Communicate any issues or delays in production to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities and assist in other departments as needed to support overall production goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process enhancements.
