Job summary

Stark Carpet Corporation is seeking an experienced QC/Packer for the 1st shift to inspect products, verify quality, and prepare orders for shipment. This role focuses on accuracy, speed, and safe handling in a warehouse setting.

You will read work instructions, use simple measuring tools, and assist in training new team members. A bonus up to $1,000 is offered for first-year retention, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Read and follow packing labels and work instructions.
• Basic math and data entry using simple computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for defects per quality standards.
• Use measuring tools and visual checks to verify quality.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Package approved products securely for shipment or storage.
• Label packaging accurately per customer/internal specs.
• Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with production staff to meet order deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist in training new team members on quality and packing procedures.
