Job summary

Litania Sports Group in Champaign, IL, is seeking a Production Supervisor – 1st Shift to lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will supervise production employees, coordinate workflow, and ensure goals are achieved efficiently and safely while coordinating with engineering and maintenance to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, quality standards, and workplace safety.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to work in a drug-free workplace and pass required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Plan and coordinate staffing, work assignments, and production schedules.
• Monitor production processes and address issues impacting quality, efficiency, or delivery.
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Train, coach, and develop employees on work procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Address employee concerns, performance issues, and workplace conflicts.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
• Ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available to support production requirements.
• Complete performance reviews, disciplinary documentation, attendance tracking, timecard approvals, and other supervisory responsibilities.
• Maintain production, labor, and operational records and prepare reports as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
