CCL is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift to lead a manufacturing team, ensuring safe, high-quality production and adherence to company standards. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement and engaging employees in a positive work environment.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 5+ years of supervisory experience, with strong communication, problem-solving, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years of Supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, and practices.
• Excellent two-way communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited information.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• High energy level to marshal resources for projects.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the team by motivating members to exceed facility goals for safety, service, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Monitors day-to-day activities, identifies gaps, completes audits, and implements changes with regular feedback.
• Promotes a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with employees and management to remove waste and improve performance.
• Plans production operations, sets priorities, and prepares schedules to ensure product quality and specifications.
• Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operating and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Retrieves, compiles, stores, analyzes production data and provides management with insights to improve efficiency.
• Manages staffing, payroll timesheets, training, coaching and development; recommends hires and promotions.
• Makes recommendations for departmental upgrades by staying current with industry and technology advances.
