Description

This position is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the assigned work area, prioritizing safety in all aspects of operations. The role involves fostering a culture of encouragement and motivation to support the success of production team members, providing necessary supplies, enforcing policies, supporting problem-solving activities, maintaining 5S standards, achieving production goals, facilitating and tracking process training, controlling process costs, and overseeing both direct and non-standard employees in the department.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and utilize current company software applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and the ERP system. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required. The position demands ethical and professional conduct.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience

Working Conditions

• Required to sit or stand for long periods; may occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week
• Up to 10% domestic and international travel as needed
• Work environment includes manufacturing, office, and laboratory areas
