Dietz and Watson, founded in 1939 by Gottlieb Dietz, a talented young German sausage maker, is seeking a Full-Time Production Supervisor for our 1st shift. Our mission is to produce the most flavorful, high-quality deli meats and artisan cheeses, exceeding government standards, with a focus on safety and customer service.

• Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience

Duties and Minimum Requirements

• Manage production line/department, establish procedures, meet schedules, increase efficiencies, and meet or exceed budgets
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies
• Ensure accurate daily reporting (department reports, attendance, yields)
• Coordinate maintenance for equipment upkeep
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure a food-safe environment following USDA standards
• Lead and support the production team, providing training and guidance
• Maintain and submit employee timecards using UKG
• Promote safety initiatives, including PPE compliance
• Oversee food processing phases, working in refrigeration environments (28-32°F)
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical and Educational Requirements

• Walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting up to 30 lbs regularly, up to 60 lbs occasionally
• Use of both hands and arms, ability to work in a safety-sensitive position

Required: High School Diploma or GED; 2-5 years of supervisory experience in food processing, preferably in meat or perishable foods; English proficiency.

Preferred: Associate Degree in Management, Food Science, or related discipline.
