Job summary

Vertiv Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Production Supervisor (1st Shift) to oversee the production floor, ensure safety, and drive efficiency. The role trains employees, inspects products for conformance, and directs machine setup and line transitions to maintain high quality and on-time output.

You will manage staffing, monitor performance, and coordinate with engineers and managers to sustain continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' Supervisory experience.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the production floor and warehouse operate in a safe manner.
• Staffing for the number of machines or lines running; adjust as needed.
• Conduct evaluations and mid-term assessments of personnel.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications and management expectations.
• Report production information to managers and communicate process changes.
