Job summary

Alleguard, a leader in protective packaging in Mishawaka, seeks a Shift Supervisor to manage materials and production functions, including planning, procurement, storage, and distribution to meet shift objectives. Reports to Plant Manager and leads a designated team.

The role emphasizes scheduling, labor cost balance, associate development, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This on-site position requires high school education, manufacturing experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; vocational training encouraged.
• Minimum three years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees production planning and scheduling during the assigned shift.
• Monitors deviations from production schedules and addresses them.
• Balances labor costs with machine requirements during the shift.
• Motivates and develops subordinates for performance and growth.
• Oversees routine housekeeping as required.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager.
• Supports related department activities as needed.
