Job summary

Alleguard, Inc. in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a shift supervisor responsible for materials and production management, including planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution to meet shift objectives.

Reports to Plant Manager and directly supervises the assigned shift. The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of production processes, and the ability to motivate subordinates, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Understanding of production processes and workflows.
• Proven leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High School diploma or vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures proper production planning and scheduling for the shift.
• Monitors adherence to production schedules and addresses deviations.
• Balance labor costs with machine needs for the shift.
• Motivate and develop subordinates for performance growth.
• Maintain routine housekeeping and cleanliness as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
