Job summary

Alleguard, Inc. in Anderson, SC is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee planning, procurement, storage, control and distribution of materials and products for the shift. Reports to the Production Manager and supervises the assigned shift.

The role requires leadership, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and at least 3 years in manufacturing. Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am with flexible scheduling based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of product production.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision - self starter.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Graduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training.
• Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures proper production planning and scheduling are carried out during the assigned shift.
• Monitors and addresses activities to prevent deviations from production schedules.
• Balance the level of labor cost and machine requirements during assigned shift.
• Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.
• Oversee routine housekeeping as required.
• Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
• Assist in related department activities and perform related duties, as required.
