Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure division is seeking a Production Lead to support the Production Supervisor in Sweetwater, TN. The role ensures safety, adheres to schedules, and acts as a liaison between frontline staff and management.

The ideal candidate will have production/manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead teams while maintaining attendance records and coordinating training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in production or manufacturing is required.
• Experience leading people is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and work in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and safety regulations; report issues to management.
• Enter safety information into compliance software as directed.
• Execute production schedule and address gaps.
• Fill in by working in production when gaps occur.
• Provide training on compliance, safety, or technical topics as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and approve payroll-related schedules.
• Lead shift meetings and communicate information to staff as directed by management.
• Coordinate with other departments to share information.
• Inspect work progress and equipment to ensure safety and specifications are met.
• Maintain open lines of communication between team members and management.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
