Job summary

The Watkins Company is hiring a Production Worker (Utility) for 1st shift in Winona, MN to support bottling and labeling lines on a full-time basis. The role involves feeding bottles, applying labels, assembling and boxing containers, inspecting materials, and assisting with line changeovers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience and demonstrate applicable reading and math skills.
• Previous manufacturing experience - preferred.
• The ability to adapt to changing working environments.
• Strong problem solving skills and utilize deductive reasoning to evaluate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and feeds bottles, jars, and other containers to be filled on manual, semi-automatic, or automatic production line.
• Applies labels to container and/or wraps products, either manually or by operating semi-automatic equipment.
• Assembles, sorts, counts, weighs, and boxes filled containers.
• Places fitments, caps, protectors, dividers, platforms, and other parts on or in bottles, jars, or boxes.
• Ensures proper count and palletizes packaged cases.
• Inspects feed materials, products, and components on the front end for quality and appearance.
