Job summary

Donaldson is hiring a Machine Operator for the Baldwin, WI location. You will set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate parts to exact specifications on a 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

You will also schedule materials, read blueprints, and ensure prints are followed with safety and quality in mind. This role emphasizes strong mechanical and mathematical skills, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to work with close tolerances in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory control.
• Ability to work with close tolerances and understand metal properties.
• Strong mechanical and mathematical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials.
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated PPE as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
