Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for our Baldwin, WI facility. The role is a 2nd shift, onsite position from 3:15 p.m.

to 1:15 a.m., Monday through Thursday. You will set up and operate metalworking machines to fabricate to specifications, manage materials, and ensure adherence to blueprints and print specifications. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and strong math and communication skills.

The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Role Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• High school diploma/GED
• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired
• Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of general safety practices
• Knowledge of general metal material properties

Preferred Qualifications

• have some press brake or sheet metal forming experience

Hourly Pay Range: $26.14

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
