Donaldson Company in Stevens Point, WI, is hiring for a 1st shift CNC Machining Operator. Duties include loading raw materials, unloading finished parts, and monitoring cycles from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. OT may be required on Saturdays.

You will read blueprints and measure parts with gauges, micrometers and calipers, and assist with basic setup and routine maintenance. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, basic shop math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Basic shop math and mechanical aptitude; ability to learn and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to stand/walk and lift 35–65 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machining equipment to load raw materials and unload finished parts while following safety rules.
Monitor machine cycles to spot errors, unusual noises, and tool wear.
Inspect finished parts using gauges, micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments.
Assist with basic machine setup, tooling changes, cleaning metal chips, changing coolant, and routine maintenance.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; perform preventive maintenance.
Read blueprints and work orders to understand part requirements.
Maintain regular attendance and be able to work overtime and weekends if required.
