Job summary

Zaddy Solutions seeks an Assistant Plant Engineer for the 1st shift in Denison, Iowa. You’ll manage maintenance and engineering operations to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.

Responsibilities include capital project delivery, TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance, safety, KPI reporting, and leading a maintenance team. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing with PLC and ammonia refrigeration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• PLC and ammonia refrigeration experience is required.
• Food manufacturing background preferred (meat/harvest floor a plus).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for capital project development and post-approval management, delivering on time and budget with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with Plant Engineer to manage project scheduling and execution, ensuring safety and environmental standards.
• Lead Maintenance Department in TPM, PM/ Predictive maintenance initiatives and related systems.
• Optimize resource scheduling to maximize output and minimize downtime, reducing costs and boosting plant efficiency.
• Lead maintenance team, delegate tasks, and enforce policies.
