Job summary

Cooper Farms in Fort Recovery, OH is seeking an Operations Training Lead to oversee new-hire training in a 1st shift role at our Liquid Egg Processing facility. You will pair trainees with mentors, monitor progress, and drive growth opportunities for employees.

The role emphasizes collaborative onboarding, safety involvement, and cross-department exposure to support successful futures within the company.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills; able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience across multiple plant departments is preferred.
• Flexibility to work second and third shifts as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Learn the different plant areas to support new and current team members.
• Pair new hires with trainers and monitor progress through their first month.
• Assist team members in identifying opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Meet with employees at 30- and 60-day milestones to gather feedback and answer questions.
• Train and support trainers to ensure quality onboarding.
• Assist managers and supervisors with safety activities, including incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Human Resources and Safety to ensure new hires complete required paperwork.
