Job summary

United Alloy is seeking a Paint & Assembly Operations Supervisor for the 1st shift in Janesville, WI. You will lead the paint and assembly on the shop floor, driving safety, accountability and daily production goals in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, coordinating across shifts to maintain production flow and hitting daily targets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production leadership experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic shop tools.
• Strong communication and accountability mindset.
• Experience with overhead cranes preferred.
• Education: high school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop paint and assembly production teams on the shop floor.
• Set daily production goals and hold teams accountable.
• Ensures safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
• Be present on the floor, remove barriers and support your team.
• Coordinate across shifts to maintain production flow.
• Review timekeeping, approve PTO, and manage attendance.
• Support training, coaching, and progressive discipline when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in welding and fabrication operations.
