Job summary

Danfoss in Utica, NY is seeking a 1st shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to service machine tools used in manufacturing and testing. Responsibilities include repairs, preventive maintenance, installations, and rearrangements of equipment.

The role requires proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with a focus on safety and reliability. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree in a technical field; four years of industrial maintenance

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical blueprints and job instructions.
• Explain and follow safety guidelines and PM procedures.
• Communicate effectively and perform basic mathematics as required.
• Proficient with CMMS, preferably Maximo, for maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical blueprints, job instructions, and precision measurement tools.
• Transition between work areas to meet delivery expectations and achieve productivity goals.
• Foster collaboration and a team-oriented environment under leadership guidance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and attending training seminars.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and support the 5S program; use hand tools and powered tools.
