Job summary

Charter Medical is hiring a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to support Winston-Salem operations. The technician will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document work orders. Proficiency with PLCs, blueprints, and ERP/eQMS systems is valued.

This on-site role requires teamwork and flexibility for an on-call schedule. Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2–5 years of maintenance experience, with strong English communications and the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years maintenance experience preferred.
• 2+ years electrical and mechanical knowledge required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Must read and follow SOPs, WI, policies, and procedures in English.
• Experience with ERP and Quality Management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues, including PLCs.
• Identify root causes and implement proper repairs.
• Document work and update maintenance orders system.
• Perform preventive maintenance per specs and schedule.
• Coordinate with shift team on work orders and priorities.
• Access and replace faulty components using schematics or PLCs.
• Assist with RO water system operation and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts for equipment and facility.
