Job summary
Smurfit Westrock in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Tech IV for 1st shift. The role leads complex maintenance tasks, performs high-level electrical and mechanical work, and ensures safe, efficient operation of plant equipment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8+ years electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
- Military training and/or technical school preferred, but not required.
- Computer experience/operation and PLC programming.
- Must be available to work 1st shift and OT when needed.
- Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment and follow directions.
- Knowledge of electrical components and equipment, and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan and review maintenance work for I–III roles.
- Troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits.
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery and facilities.
- Install and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Train others and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
- Operate tools and equipment used in testing and repairs.
