Job summary

Adecco Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift in Kennebunk, ME to support a manufacturing line. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role offers $20.00/hour with weekly pay and a focus on working with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Training, documented maintenance, and adherence to safety procedures are emphasized.

Qualifications

Maintenance, mechanical or machine operation experience is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using hand tools around production machinery.
Ability to follow safety procedures and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical equipment issues.
Inspect equipment for wear, damage or unusual operating conditions.
Clean, adjust, lubricate and repair machinery as needed.
Respond to equipment issues and help minimize production downtime.
Use hand tools and maintenance equipment to perform repairs and adjustments.
Follow maintenance procedures, safety requirements and work instructions.
Document maintenance activities and report equipment concerns.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating reliably.
Learn new machinery, tools and maintenance processes.
