Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a 1st shift in Wilmington, MA. You will perform skilled maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

You will diagnose root causes, repair and reassemble equipment, and document actions while adhering to safety and continuous improvement principles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Driver's license and forklift training certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect machinery, equipment, piping and perform preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment problems with team; discuss operation issues with production.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures or leaks by disassembly and inspection.
• Follow safety and maintenance manuals; document procedures and findings.
• Align components and verify mechanical clearances for proper operation.
• Work with outside contractors; mentor junior maintenance staff.
