Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Pineville, NC. The role pays $30.00 per hour and runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to keep production equipment running at peak performance. Required: 5+ years of machine maintenance experience, strong reading of schematics/blueprints, and teamwork with a safety-first mindset.

What You'll Do

• Read blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Machine custom parts using lathes, mills, grinders, and press tools.
• Maintain PM, machine repair, and OSHA safety records.
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and install machine guards.

Responsibilities

• *1) The ability to troubleshoot, repair and rebuild electrical circuits and components such as solenoids, relays, and motors using electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
• *2) The ability to troubleshoot, repair and rebuild pneumatic systems consisting of air compressor, oilier, filters, valves, air-lines, fittings and cylinders.
• *3) The ability to troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical systems and components such as flywheels, crankshafts and bearings.
• 4) Operates lathes, mills, grinders, drills, punch presses, and a variety of pneumatic hand tools to machine parts used in repairing production equipment.
• *5) Develops and maintains a complete file of maintenance records including machine repair records, PM records, OSHA records, and other safety documentation.
• 6) Installs machine guards and cages for presses, feeders and choppers.
• *7) Ensures that all lock-out/tag-out procedures are being followed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
