Job summary

Pacific Cheese in Reno, NV is hiring a Maintenance Electrician for 1st shift starting at 4:00am, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production, building and facilities equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Candidates should have at least 6 years of electrical experience (480V and control 120/24V DC), with familiarity of conveyor systems and ladder logic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 years electrical experience (480V and 120/24V DC).
• Familiar with conveyor systems and ladder logic.
• Background in food packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes.
• Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Analyze process data and make decisions on maintenance and improvement activities.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time.
• Utilize online service maintenance application to document and track all maintenance activities.
